As you have heard the city of Berkeley CA has allowed the anti-war group Code Pink to harass the US Marine recruiting center. The city council has given Code Pink a parking space in front of the recruiting center and a noise permit to use loud speakers to disturb the Marines while they're working. They have also passed a law that no recruitment center can be within 600 feet of any home, church, or school in the city limits. The Mayor has tried to force the Marines out by offering them a refund on their security deposit if they leave the city.
I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of these radical left-wingers attacking our service people. So I think it time for Berkeley to pay a price for harassing our military people. I think it's time to fight back by costing the city some time and money.
So here's my plan. I would like people to call the town hall in Berkeley and bomb ever city department with phone calls and jam there voicemail boxes with messages. The idea is to cause the city to use it's resources and make it very difficult to provide their citizens with city services. I would not want to see any calls that would interfere with police or fire. The voicemails should be strictly for municipal service departments.
If you think that my idea is something new it's not. Anti-war groups have been involved in an effort to keep military recruiters busy by calling recruitment centers pretending to be possible recruits. This wastes the time of recruiters and ties up the phones so they can't talk to people who really want to join. So a little pay back is in order.
